INSPIRATION: This
quilt was created for The Animals, and
it is visually as disturbing as the
actual wildlife management policies as
they are currently being (un)enforced in
Africa, both in the wild and in
“protected” game preserves. Case
in point was the killing of adult male
elephants, resulting in a disastrous,
unanticipated chaos among the young of
the herds. |

The work is 100% cotton, machine-pieced,
hand-quilted by the artist. The quilt is
washable and durable. |
